CANADA

BEST TIME

Canada in general has a very harsh winter, however between the months of June and September the temperature is pleasant and it is better to get to know the destination.  The rains are well distributed throughout the year, it rains a little more in the summer, but there is not a dry season and a rainy season. Vancouver, on the other hand, has well-defined seasons: winter (December to March) is wetter and more rainy, while summer (June to September) is drier and hotter.

BEST TOURS

The best way to get to know Toronto is by walking and using its very simple subway lines. In the center of the city is where some of its main tourist attractions are located. It is in the heart of Toronto that Yonge-Dundas Square is located, which, as they like to say, is the “Times Square” of Toronto. The square is surrounded by large advertising signs, always hosts events and is located at the intersection of Dundas St and Yonge St, the longest street in the world. There are several stores, as well as the Eaton Centre, a great shopping mall that gives access to the PATH, an underground trading system with almost 30 km in length. The PATH with its underground streets has chains of stores, banks, restaurants and food courts, very good for cold days, since everything inside is heated. Walking around downtown you will always be able to see the CN Tower, the communication tower that is one of the tallest in the world and one of the most important tourist attractions in Toronto.

Other places to visit are the Rogers Centre, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, and Steam Whistle which is a craft brewery, which has guided tours and is a place where Blue Jays fans always visit before games. A visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to hockey and the sport's stars, Casa Loma, reminiscent of a  “castle” and served as an inspiration for the X-Men school. And for those who enjoy cultural outings, other alternatives are the Art Gallery of Ontario, the giant museum of natural history and culture Royal Ontario Museum, and the Ontario Science Centre.

Heading out of the city for a walk will take you to the Toronto Islands, an archipelago of Lake Ontario that is just a few minutes by ferry from downtown. The wooded islands have canals for kayaking, bike paths, beaches and outdoor picnics. A little further away, about 140 km away, is one of the most beautiful places in Canada, Niagara Falls, which is on the border between Canada and the United States, a wonderful sight.

Being in Toronto, it's really worth taking the time to get to know the French-speaking cities of Montreal and Québec City; and the capital, Ottawa.

On the other hand, Vancouver, despite being a cosmopolitan city, does not neglect the environment and care in preservation and has incredible natural scenery.

Some interesting points to know  is Canada Place, where the city's port is located, the Steam Clock, a public steam-powered clock located in the Gastown neighborhood and Stanley Park, one of the most beautiful urban parks in Canada. In Stanley Park is the Vancouver Aquarium and two beaches.

A destination with lots of nature and incredible landscapes,
